Saret Britz is the Managing Director of Rouge Communiqué, a specialised conference, marketing and events management organisation.  She entered the education and training industry in 1997 as senior lecturer of Thames Valley University (UK) Honours students in Entrepreneurship, Business Economics and Economics.  Her background in teaching and training soon led to her involvement in the conference industry where she has been ever since.  She joined Marcus Evans, an international conference company in 1998 and was soon promoted from Conference Producer to Summits Director where she hosted major industry events.  She joined Terrapinn, a similar organisation, in 2001 where she was appointed as the General Manager in charge of Production, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Services and Financial Administration.  She has managed Rouge Communiqué since 2003.

Her focus at Rouge Communiqué is to develop skills in the conference industry, to organise, plan and host major industry events, to execute large-scale African events and to perform in a consultative role to not-for-profit organisations in their own development of annual events.  She has a special preference working towards developing industry-wide events for the African market.  Major clients include the Business Ethics Network of Africa (BEN-Africa), the International Society of Business, Economics and Ethics (ISBEE), African Management Communications International (AMC International), Knowledge Up-Grade Management (KUGM), University of Johannesburg Faculty of Economic and Financial Sciences, QuantumIntellect, the Health Care Waste Forum of Southern Africa and Ethics at Work.  Her company’s major accomplishment to date is winning the global bid to host the Fourth ISBEE World Congress 2008 in Africa (Cape Town) for the International Society of Business Economics and Ethics.  She is the first Professional Conference Organiser to have been elected onto the Executive Committee of BEN-Africa.

Saret graduated from Rand Afrikaans University (now the University of Johannesburg) with a BA Communications Degree, BA Hon (Econ), Post-Graduate Higher Teaching Diploma (NHED) and MA (Econ) in 1998.  Her areas of specialisation were Labour Economics and Quantitative Economics.
